Just a reminder!

I am so pleased that you are all trying blogging! We really value your ideas and comments, after all it is your school!

Just remember be considerate of other people's feelings.
If somebody else wrote unkind things about you how would it make you feel? So don't do it to others!

Also starting your own blogs is great, however, starting a blog to say unkind things about another person is BULLYING and is unacceptable.

Let's all be respectful and considerate of each other, and most importantly have fun!

Any questions, please come and talk to me in school anytime!

Mrs Eames ;-)

Chess Club Problem! From Mr Cowell.

You are offered the option £250,000 (a quarter of a million pounds) OR the sum of money on the last square of a chessboard if 1p is placed on the first square, 2p on the second square, 4p on the third square, 8p on the fourth, etc, doubling the sum of money on each square.

Which would you take? (Give your reasons please!)

One Week Left!

You've got one week left to do as much practice as possible ready for World Maths Day when we'll work with other pupils all over the world to break last year's record of 182,445,169 correctly answered questions on the actual day.
Our current leaders:
1st - Y5 boy has answered 7577 questions
2nd - Y4 girl has answered 7163 questions
3rd - Y5 boy has answered 6587 questions
(2nd and 3rd live in the same house! I sense a bit of healthy competition!)

Go to the website at www.worldmathsday.com . If you've forgotten your log-in and password - ask your teacher, they have a list. You can also come and play some games in the ICT suite at lunchtime.
